Getting away from the name calling, I wonder if there is a theory about why Nneka keeps being snubbed?

The theory, as canonically given for over the last 20+ years, is that UConn unreasonably dominates the political landscape of women's basketball, from the collegiate recruiting scene to NCAA women's tournament seedings to Olympic team selection.  Nneka's snub is yet another data point on that trendline.
