Trying to figure out what is not “QB friendly” about the offense they run? They run a pro style offense that puts their QBs in a good position with NFL. They throw a fair amount out of 4 receiver sets. They don’t allow their QBs to be beaten to a pulp. Generally they have pass protected well.
Sure it’s not Mike Leach winging it all over the place. But how did that work for Costello? And while you are at it look at how many QBs thezPirate has sent to NFL.
People act as if the offense is the same as it was in ‘12. It’s not. Not even close. In case you missed it, Stanford was second in PAC 12 in passing yards. Mills second to Slovis with a little over 300 yards passing a game. Only SC and OSU threw it more than Stanford. And despite a history of injuries (starting before he came to Stanford) he was a third round NFL pick.
Stanford’s biggest problem isn’t the play calling or the game plan. Not by a long shot. I wish it were. They had some great years while people moaned about their play calling and “predictable “ offense. Their problem is they have a poor defense. Only Arizona gave up more rushing yards. I suspect defense will be the big issue in ‘21.
Query - does his career consist of 2021? And how many games did he play? What year are we talking about?

Our latest QB commit has 4 passing TDs and 2 Ints in his entire high school career, and we haven't exactly been on target with higher ranked recruits. Is this lack of top talent due to the lack of campus visits or bad on field record trend?
