I'd like to redirect this conversation back to the Olympics and away from vaccine response before it crosses into the political sphere.  Regardless of why Japan has lagged in vaccination, which is irrelevant to this discussion, the fact of the matter is that it does, and that has implications for the Olympics having spectators.

Is that because if we talk more about Covid here someone might point out that Santa Clara County recently reassessed the death totals attributed to Covid, which resulted in a 20% drop in the total?  Doh!  (And apologies to all the harm caused to those here who read this post.  Somehow, I think you'll survive).
