The one thing that will trip up Stanford this season is if Santa Clara County institutes rules about not practicing/playing indoors.  IMO at the moment it's not out of the question.

I think it is unlikely.  We may see a return of mask mandates, but I doubt we will see a return of the restrictions that were there in the fall and winter, even if the number of cases of COVID continues to climb.  80% of adults in Santa Clara county are fully vaccinated, and Stanford will have vaccination requirements for returning to school.

I hope I'm not eating my words here.
