My brother in Ohio told me that he heard a report that Stanford and USC could end up in the Big 10 when the dust settles. FWIW.

No surprise.  The Big Ten wants to add AAU schools. USC and Stanford (and the two UC’s, UO and UW) fit that profile.  Those six schools would be high on the list of potential new members of the Big Ten.
