Last year, when EVGR (Escondido Village Graduate Residences) opened, one entire building housing 700 students was dedicated to undergraduates. This year, as dorms reopen to normal capacity, that building is still dedicated to undergraduates with each of the 8 new S-T-A-N-F-O-R-D neighborhoods equally represented, so Stanford can handle more undergrads.

The plan was to transition this building to graduate housing, but I don’t think there is a definite timetable.

With Stanford and Santa Clara County unable to agree on a plan for further development, it could be awhile.

While this building is dedicated to undergraduates, there could be a noticeable increase in undergrads.
