ESPN+ does not include ESPNU. You have to pay extra for the sports package through Comcast to watch the channel on Watchespn.com. It has been the most frustrating thing about ESPN for me since I became interested in sports because a lot of big out of conference games are on the channel and I don't pay for the sports package.
You can try signing up for a free 7 day subscription though Sling or another service that carries the channel and cancel before the week is up. I did that two weeks ago when Stanford volleyball played Texas on the Longhorn Network.
