Not disagreeing with you, Goose. Plausible deniability may work for a legal defense, but it’s not a good defense when you should know what is happening in your own department.  I think there are enough “strikes” against Muir to warrant dismissal (I’d like to think “for cause”, but somehow I think that bar will be hard to meet.)
