Congratulations to Helton; but Georgia Southern will be a tough recruiting location. He had great talent at USC.  He will have to get used to working with less in his new gig.

yes, brobdingnagian brobdingnagian step down for Helton, but I suspect he sees it as a chance at redemption.  although generally not their 1st choice, kids like Georgia Southern (in Atlanta area, if kids don't get in UGA or Tech, Southern is often 3rd and seen as a toss up with paying out of state freight to attend Auburn, Alabama or Ole' Miss).  may be 23,000 undergrad and the town caters to the school.  probably about the same number of butts in seats at their home football games as ours this year, may be more on a paying basis.
