I think Stanford wasn't the only team missing players, but I doubt any of the others were missing three of their regular starters.
Rose Zhang wasn't there win her fourth straight individual crown, but three Stanford players finished in the Top 10.
T3. Seay -5
T6. Krauter -2
T6. Englemann -2
T28. Ye +9
48. Reyes +16
Spring season will be very interesting. There are at least seven players who will contend to make the roster, and ultimately Coach Walker will have to make some tough calls when NCAAs come around
Is everyone a scholarship player? If so it is tough indeed. I would imagine that this talent on one team is pretty rare in Women's Golf.
I doubt they all are on scholarship but I don't know who isn't
Zhang is the world's #1 and Heck is #2. I don't recall a college team ever having the numbers one and two. And the back end of Krauter, Sturdza, Ye, Seay and Englemann is absurd.
Just as absurd next year. America's number one junior, Megha Ganne, replaces Krauter.
