On the topic of motivating, from Warriors game last night...
The W's were playing sloppy basketball in the first quarter and Steve Kerr was upset, almost resigned to defeat. Then Draymond Green told him how bad his body language looked, and he realized he needed to change, that it was his responsibility to inspire the team. In fact, Kerr's went on to say he was acting like a pouting child and he was not proud of his behavior.
How refreshing to see a coach admit fault and acknowledge part of his job is to inspire his players to perform.
I say this in response to the "I'm not a motivator. I want motivated players" post above.
Oh, should say the Warriors went on to win the game by 22 points.
