We were utterly outplayed in every facet of the game. We have a long road back to competitiveness, which is troubling. Not sure this is fixable any time soon, and while I’m pretty sanguine about the recruiting class, I don’t think there are a lot of instant difference makers there, so we are really looking at three years down the line when they are redshirt sophomores and juniors. And that presumes that they develop, which has been a problem.
Nobody ever said that being a Stanford fan was easy.

Some stats…
We were outgained 440-28 in the first half, the second worst yardage discrepancy at halftime in seven years. This was the worst loss since going down 57-7 in 2003. We gave up three 100-yard rushers… the first time it has happened in the PAC-12 since 2017. It was the most yards rushing we’ve given p in Shaw’s tenure.
