The idea that we should give up football, or at least relegate it to the club level or join an Ivy League type Conference.
Do you think it should be considered?

Yes, I do. My belief is if you are going to compete in something, you owe it to everyone making an investment in the enterprise, to push the envelope and hold people accountable for performance to stay competitive. I can understand, accept, even admire Stanford having higher admissions requirements than other football programs, but the purposeful hand tying beyond that, is just stupid, IMO.

Probably best to start a new thread to discuss this topic as it goes way beyond the Utah game abortion.

We can discuss it if people want, but it ain't going to happen. Anytime soon anyway.
