we were also at the game. i agree with your observations.
the player who surprised me on the upside was bosgana. she plays very good, aggressive defense. she is quick, alert, high energy. she does indeed have an outside shot. she reminds me a bit of the hulls - only taller (like lexie, elena likes to drive and play tight d). and she must be a quick learner as she seemed to know where to be on defense and even running the offense. when she was at the point, she was not to my eyes a ball hog. my guess from a single exhibition game is that, if she had played at an american college, she would be ranked around # 20.
as others noted about the scrimmage (which i missed): agnes emma-nnopu is much improved.
kiki iriafen? wow! as advertised: strong, agile. and when's the last time a post player in her first game at stanford hit all (i think) of her many free throws? and can she ever rebound!
all 3 of the freshmen played like upper classmen. jordan hamilton as well. no one is lost, they know the offense, they know the defense (well, occasional lapses with 2 defenders on one clarke player and none on another; but only a few).
