Only an exhibition game, but there was so much that was encouraging for a great season. As others have said, both Fran and Agnes are hugely improved from last year -- we saw that in the open practice, but it there is was again today. Fran just looks so more assured. Iriafen, wow, she's going to be fantastic, and Bosgana -- so confident for someone so young. 

Everyone suited up got to play significant minutes, and everyone made serious contributions. It almost didn't seem to matter who was on the court. Interesting stat no one has noted yet -- everyone scored except Lexie. And everyone who did score had at least one field goal.

I'm excited for this season. It's going to be brutal, though, though given the strength of the pre-conference schedule and the the Pac-12 meatgrinder. I just hope we can keep everyone healthy. The depth can help that, meaning that Tara can let people rest in games as needed.
