Good thought.  But if the change could come from within the OL, then my question is: why would it only be coming now?  They have played poorly most of the season, so they have had a lot of time to show self-ownership of the issue and be masters of their own destiny.  Seems late with only 3 games to play.  But, yes, on the face of things, the players should have the chops to play much, much better.

It may be that the message from the coaches has been something like "You are close. You just need to play a bit better and it will happen for us". That seems to be the message out there for public consumption anyway. As was pointed out on this board recently, the "numbers" say they were improving. Possibly it takes a total meltdown to make the players realize it isn't working and "somebody has to do something". I do absolutely agree it is late in the season for that to happen. Not counting on it. Hope it happens.
