I firmly believe that Stanford leaders, like at every other Power 5 school, are addicted to the TV revenue that football generates.

Only if the TV revenue starts to drop— or *perhaps* a scandal involving widespread corruption in CFB (think gambling/NIL)—will Stanford go in a different with football.
