Stanford RPI at #30. That's a little better than I expected. It's hard to predict a teams movement in the RPI list unless you have access to the actual RPI percentage. 1/100 of a point could separate two teams or six teams.
Cal is at #252.
At this point, having an RPI of 30 means they are on a collision course to meet a Regional #1 seed (Louisville, Texas, Pittsburgh or Wisconsin) in the 2nd Round. I would say give them Wisconsin, which will surely send shock waves to Badger fans, knowing that their team has never won against the Cardinal.
At this point, of course, we’re on a collision course to meet UW and WSU. I’m just hoping we send some shock waves through their fans… :-)
