As I've wondered before, perhaps the more aggressive serving is a response to poorer serve-receive, digs and passing compared to the previous championship teams (I have no data or expertise to back up this speculation). Plummer was so exceptional at out-of-system kills, I would not be surprised at a drop-off in our out-of-system scoring without her.
