I got the impression that Texas wanted Haley to bring the ball up. If Anna or others tried, Texas was in their grill. When Haley got it they backed off to token pressure. This may have been a strategy to make it tough for Haley to get open by moving without the ball, forcing her to be a dribbler instead.

Interesting, I thought it was just that whoever was guarding Haley was too big/slow to press, whereas the ones guarding our guards were quick.  

I only watched the first 3 quarters, but our defense looked really good during that time.  It'll keep us in most, if not all, our games this year while our offense figures things out.
