If Lougeay plays and I can count the number of service errors on one hand, Stanford wins 3-1.
If Lougeay doesn't play, I don't know.
Oregon gets swept by Kansas. In the sport of WVB, after several decades of dominance the PAC-12-10 is no longer all that and a bag of chips.
Pretty good prediction: Lougeay played, if you net out the SE’s and the aces, you can count them on one hand, and we won 3-1. (It helped that ISU decided to gift us even more SE’s, of course.)
Your prediction for tomorrow?
I'm cheering for Stanford. I'm hoping for a miracle.
Realistic Prediction: Minnesota wins in a sweep and none of the sets will be close.
The enthusiasm and size of the crowd will be a good experience for the freshmen even with the crowd cheering for the opponent.
I actually think that Stanford is very capable of beating Minnesota at Minnesota, because if an NCAA unseeded team like Penn State (which Stanford beat earlier in the season) can SWEEP (as in 3-0) Minnesota at Minnesota (an actual Big 10 match last Oct 22), I don't see why Stanford cannot defeat them, as well. However, if Stanford is to beat Minnesota at Minnesota today, they have to do it by a sweep or in 4 sets.
