the common denominator was Minnesota LOST WHEN THEY WERE OUTHIT PERCENTAGE-WISE.
Doesn't matter if they had more total kills or more total blocks than their opponent,
as long as they ended up with the lower hitting percentage, they lost!
However, the same applies to their opponents, and that's what happened to Nebraska:
Nebraska had more total kills 68-59 and more total blocks 14.5 - 10, but they were
outhit percentage-wise .135 - .168, and they had much more Service Errors 12-4
while Minnesota had more Service Aces 8-5.
Given that, let the Coach HAMBLY and her staff figure out an appropriate strategy.
I say don't give Minnesota any free points by minimizing on the Service Errors,
just serve the ball in and let them play, because the rule of hitting percentages
favor the Cardinal.
