You could be right (or directionally right), though it begs the question why did Sagarin even bother to compile rankings if it was silly to do so?

Regardless, did you watch Michigan play that season?  (I assume you watched 4-2 Stanford).
If so, which team do you think was better that year?

To me, it wasn't even close.  Michigan looked superior.
