I didn't think Mano was the right person; only based on what I saw at the matches.  He stayed by himself during timeouts and didn't seem to be involved with the players.  My preference would be a female who the players can relate to and someone who has the confidence to speak in front of the entire team.  I'd also like to have someone with a track record of recruiting players starting at the 15/16 year old level.

When the coaches all participated in the "Volleyball 101" (in 2020?), I was underwhelmed by Mano.  He seemed the least engaging of the group (which at that time included Alisha Glass Childress).  That may not be a reflection on his coaching or recruiting ability.  Perhaps that type of public speaking is not his forte.






I'm in agreement on with you regarding the ideal candidate.  Hope we can get someone like that.
