Good for C-Rob! COVID is awful in some many ways, but if we're looking for the tiny silver linings, one is that there are pro athletes out there who are getting to realize their dreams because the regular cast is quarantined.
By the way, the NFL's new policy of only testing players who disclose that they are symptomatic is about the dumbest thing I could imagine. The justification is that the NFL's data shows asymptomatic players do not spread COVID. That strains credulity, but it makes perfect sense for a league that apparently knew and failed to disclose for years that its players were suffering from brain injuries at alarming rates.
OTOH, I'm grateful that Stanford is being reasonably cautious about the pandemic. Just one more reason that I eschew the NFL in favor of college ball.
