I would imagine Cincy was expecting a lot more pass, but Alabama is missing their top WR, so maybe should have started with more guys at LOS on defense.

Their top WR is Jameson Williams, not Metchie. I think Alabama just wanted to pound on Cincinnati and let them know who's boss.

Metchie was the most reliable first down getter for them. Williams their biggest play threat.
