My gawd could I not be more profoundly disappointed in Michigan. I was genuinely looking forward to this game and anticipating something classic. Instead?  27-3 at halftime.

Nothing in college football is worse than the prospect of the team that got destroyed by Alabama in the SEC Championship Game, destroying the Big Ten Champion and getting another shot at Alabama in the National Championship game. Nothing. It will give everyone the evidence to show a conference championship game loser shouldn't be eliminated from playoff (at least in a 4-team format).

To me there is something inherently un-sports-like to give the loser of a championship game a playoff berth. This game provides people who want to argue that point ammunition I'd rather they not have available for them to use.

Georgia in going 12-0 out scored opponents 488-83. That’s my “point ammunition “

interestingly enough Georgia opens as a 2.5 point favorite...
