BACardinal echoes a lot of what I was thinking. Okpala was a barely known entity prior to Haase taking an interest, and molded him into a draft pick who's survived in the league. Terrell, IRC, was barely a top 100 recruit. Williams had a lot of issues that I think extended beyond Haase, and still was drafted about where his recruit ranking would suggest (8th ranked recruit, 10th draft pick). Ingram, as others have said, also appears to be likely to meet or exceed expectations.
And to be clear, I'm not even claiming that Haase has some secret sauce in how he coaches or player develops. All I know is that he has a pretty good record for sending recruits to the pros given how mediocre our on-court performance has been, and so for guys who are eyeing one(or-two)-and-done and going pro, I can see why Stanford is a desirable destination even if an NCAA run isn't likely in the cards.
