McDonald and Lee were much better players at the Point that who ever Hasse has recruited .  Knight soooo much better

As much as anything, they could shoot. In McDonald's senior year, he shot 51% (!) from 3 point range. Also averaged 4.9 assists/game. Lee shot 40% from 3 in his career and made 87% of his FTs.

Chris Hernandez could shoot too. His senior year he made 47% from 3 and 90% from the line.

Except for Terry, no one in the Haase era comes close. We should acknowledge however that Knight, McDonald, Lee and Hernandez played with a 3 point line that was closer than it is today. Moved back a foot in 2007 and another 15 inches in 2019.
