Yes, and another growing problem is that health care workers are being sidelined by infections, stressing the system (and the health care workers able to work) in various places. We should keep in mind the system problems that rapid surges can cause, including businesses that can't adequately staff, even though the infections do not cause problems for a high percentage of those infected.
