A few things:

1) Brink confirmed she was out with Covid and that her better game Sunday compared with Friday might be due to better conditioning.

2) Tara singled Brink out for praise, particularly 4/4 free throws and 8 O-boards. 

3) Tara mentioned that Lexie may have been pressing, to go 0/5 from three.

4) Tara also praised Jump, saying that she could have become discouraged (presumably in prior years due to lack of playing time) but instead she worked to improve and that she has expanded her game far beyond shooting.  First in the gym, last to leave--clearly Tara would like to see other players emulate that model.   Tara noted her defense, "Now I'm trying to get her to rebound" Tara said as the next step in the progression.

5) In comparison to the first game, Tara said we improved our free throw shooting, reduced our turnovers, and rebounded better.  Our shooting was somewhat off, but "sometimes you just have nights like that" and those other factors are how you win when you do.

6) Tara also noted that we do well the second time we play another team since it gives us a chance to absorb the scouting report, and that we did a better job against certain Gonzaga players.  She noted Gonzaga 33 (Kempton who went from 16 points to 8 points) as an example of improved implementation of the scouting report.
