Suspect he wants to play more.  Wonder if Smith has passed him on the depth chart.

I know Teejers you think,that this is some program incitement.  Maybe so.  Doubt it. But who knows. What I do know is it’s the new reality in College football.  Free agency.  With no contracts.

Maybe he just wants to go to a place where they can run the football. Stanford placed #125 out of 130 teams in rushing last year. They averaged a paltry 87 yards p/g. The OL is just a shadow of what they once were. It's sad. I miss those days of Smash Mouth Football under Shaw.

Much as it pains me, I think it's a good football move for one of the four (Jones, Peat, EJS, Filkins) to move on from Stanford. 
All have good reason to believe in their abilities and is clear that not all will get the shot they need.
No idea whether whether there's anything else behind it, good chance there is, but not surprising either.
