Oregon beat UCLA 83-79 at Pauley.

1.  One thing you can bank on:  Oregon will improve as the season progresses and be a force in P12 Tourney (they may be before then this season);

2.  UW, and particularly Daejon Davis, will want to beat Stanford (and Haase) so badly.  I predict him being in MOC's and Silva's grill all game long.

3.  The team is winning close games lately - a great sign.  But as noted above, we need to see these kind of outcomes late-season.

4.  Right now, there is ample reason for hope.  And man is that a good feeling for Stanford men's sports.
