The thing about the squib is that unless it bounces straight at a player and is caught cleanly it's going to take a good amount of time off the clock. 

Does the clock start once the ball is kicked or once the ball is touched _after_ the kick?  Just wondering why it matters about the "bounces straight at a player" qualification.
