I was hoping Elena Bosgana would do well.  This is the first time I've seen her play for Stanford.  Unfortunately she didn't look good IMO.  It's understandable with little if any playing time and coming on the court with a make-shift Stanford lineup.  Hopefully she gets another chance in the next blowout win.

I too have been waiting for Bosgana to start to look comfortable and let the game come to her.  Early in the year it seemed as if she was a bit of a black hole:  the ball went to her and never came back out.  The fact that she is 0-9 from three has not helped her confidence, though she has looked good on her drives.  The last couple of times I've seen her, she seems more relaxed and in the mode to do whatever she can to help the team rather than immediately trying to impose her offense on the team.  Her defense also seems to be improving.  Clearly she has a high basketball IQ and now I think you are going to see more of it.  I don't know who she usually matches up against in practice, but this must be a steep learning curve for her practicing largely against (I'm guessing here) the Hulls, Hannah and Agnes.

I think the raw material is there, but it might take one of those classic frosh-soph jumps before we start to see what she is truly capable of.
