I mean hip hop and rap is not my cup of tea, but it is shocking that we’ve been through 55 Super Bowls in a game that features 57% of its players who are Black and never had a halftime show that featured hip hop.

To me what is even more shocking is that the NFL chose 2022, just after a year filled with race riots, to finally feature West Coast Hip Hop in the half time show.  

I am, actually, a big fan of hip hop and rap and have been since I was a kid in the 70s.  I'm still bitter about the "Disco Sucks" campaign perpetrated by chumps who couldn't dance.
