On a related topic, who should be P12 coach of the year?

There must be some trick in that question that I just don't get!

We all (including me) jump to thinking Tara, but I think a case could be made for Kamie Ethridge at WSU.   Note that the pre-season poll had them picked to finish 6th in the conference, and they are currently tied with Oregon for 2nd place. I hope they will drop to 3rd after Thursday, but in any event, succeeding way beyond expectations should count in the Coach of the Year selection. We'll be seeing her tomorrow night -- could be a challenging game. (Not too challenging, I hope -- I certainly don't want this to be the game in which WSU finally manages to beat Stanford, for the first time ever.)
