I'll be cheering and hoping they go on a run like OSU did last year. Unfortunately all the indicators are another first round flameout.
FWIW, it is not as if OSU was on a roll going into the Pac-12 tournament last year. They were 6-7 going into the tourney, with two of those wins by only 2 points. They looked like a team that was struggling to pay .500 ball in the conference.
The difference is OSU had a fantastic senior talent, Ethan Thompson, who could put the entire team on his back and average 16/6/4 in 35 minutes a game throughout the tournaments. We do not have an Ethan Thompson.
By the way, Wayne Tinkle committed highway robbery by signing an extension right after that. OSU is right back to being horrible again. (They were our only W in the last 8 games, on the road. That's how bad they are.)
