Some of my favorites:
The Henry Wiggen novels (Mark Harris)
Veeck as in Wreck (Ed Linn)
Eight Men Out (Eliot Asinof)
The Teammates (Halberstam)
Chasing October (Dave Plaut)
The Era (Roger Kahn)
Another great book: My Turn at Bat. The Story of My Life.
By Ted Williams and John Underwood.
Probably the greatest hitter and one of most arrogant, unlikable players ever in MLB.
Probably true, but he ended up a head above the rest.
Rim shots please……
Oh jeez I can't stop laughing....ouch!
