I'm thrilled for the guys and was jumping up and down in the final minute, but it's hard not to worry about this stuff. A blow-out loss, which it was looking like until 3 mins to go, to lose the final 6 games "feels" different than this. A miracle comeback in the first game of the conference tournament against a mediocre team -- and it takes two to tango...ASU coughed it up with turnovers and missed free throws (including two front ends of one and ones) at the same time as we finally started hitting some shots -- of course shouldn't save Haase's job or change the view of the season or his tenure. Who knows how Muir thinks though. If we play well in a valiant loss to Arizona tomorrow, it's not that hard to imagine a sell-job that the team was playing hard and showed signs of life despite losing 5 of their last 6. I don't buy it, but the fear is real! In my view there's nothing that could happen from here, short of winning the Pac-12 tournament then getting to the Final Four (!), that should save Haase's job.
