maybe, but do we have any indication that the schools where boosters are paying high nil are different schools than the ones that were getting these players already by under the table payments of 50k?
does it affect stanford any differently if the payments are 5 million vs 50k?
the most obvious difference to me is that now the players, coaches, and schools won't be penalized retroactively (and hypocritically) for what they were doing already - not that they will get different recruits.
