Stanford didn't really "improve" anything.
So.Carolina did lose between the previous odds and these, and yet their odds improved from 2/1 to 7/4.
In fairness, I'd give them much better odds after seeing their actual bracket, which I think is by far the easiest path to the final four, as well as avoiding either Stanford or UConn until the championship game. Some versions of brackets floated by Creme and others prior to the conference tournaments suggested UConn could end up in SCAR's region, which, IMHO, would significantly reduce the odds that SCAR would get championship number two.
