Yeah, the deflection out of bounds was probably off them. It’s a bit hard to tell from the angle they showed, but are defender was adamant she didn’t touch it, and that’s the sort of thing you would know. They only showed one replay and it wasn’t from an angle you could tell.
It didn’t wind up mattering, but at the time the game was close enough that I was upset they didn’t review it, and it was followed a few plays later by Jones’ “charge”.
On the other hand, there were probably a few times when we could have been whistled for a foul, but the refs called it a tie up.
It’s the kind of game where you are glad the margin was large so that the refs didn’t have a chance to make a difference.
