Well, insofar as the Domers (a) would have to get through both NC State and likely UConn before we'd face them; (b) are therefore almost certainly not a team we'll face in the post-season; and © faced off against an Oklahoma team that, I kid you not, Massey rates as the 243rd best defense in the country, I guess a high scoring performance from the Domers rates as a mild upset that is of relatively little significance to us. By contrast, if we can get through Spokane, the fact that neither SCAR nor UConn looked like they passed the eyeball test for a national championship caliber team would be directly relevant for thinking about our next two weeks.
But I am glad Maya Dodson is getting to strut her stuff in a way she never really got to do for us!
I think there's a decent chance Notre Dame gets through NC State at least. They beat NC St. in Feb. and it seems like they are peaking at the right time. UCONN stomped ND 73-54 but that was in December, pre-Bueckers' injury. If I had to predict based on how each team is playing now, ND would win this time around.
ETA I'd also give Indiana a decent shot against UCONN in the S16. They have a balanced attack as well and a very good PG in Grace Berger. They look much better than they did when we played them last.
