Ohio State was impressive.  The result was particularly impressive because the LSU guards were the kind of lightning quick perimeter players that Stanford (indeed, most teams) would have real trouble defending.  But tOSU weathered the one 1H run, led by LSU guards, and then just squeezed the life out of the home team.  Texas may be better, but they'll have to play a very good game to knock off the Buckeyes.



Either will give Stanford a tough game.

Ohio State's 2nd leading scorer and leading 3 point shooter is Taylor Mikesell who played for Oregon last season.

Mikesell is a journeyman: she played two seasons at Maryland (2018-19, 2019-20), then one at Oregon (2020-21), before transferring to Ohio State.
