No one else appears to have commented on this and it's a bit snarky -- sorry about that, well not really -- but I have to say, it's a great relief to me that we will not have to see Mulkey/LSU and her awful demeanor and clothes in Spokane.

Don’t know about snarky but you did omit anything related to  Mulkey’s coaching ability or her teams record or skills.  Worse yet you  left out observation that  she didn’t go to Stanford, doesn’t live on the West Coast and speaks with a Southern Accent.  It’s really embarrassing that they let “those people” into womens basketball.  I mean, like you said, they don’t even know how to dress and they don’t talk like we do. 

What’s the phrase for “ rude, overbearing snob” in Palo Alto?

I think many people on this board, myself included, could never forgive Mulkey for how she treated Brittney Griner by locking her in the closet.

Before I knew about that, I regarded Mulkey as an eccentric but effective coach and did not feel strongly about her one way or the other except wanting to beat her.  But yes, I have utter disdain for her now, on account of her being a bigot--or at least being afraid of bigots--who  was too cowardly to let her player publicly reveal her identify.  Think of the good that might have been accomplished had Griner been allowed to come out with the support of her coach.
