I think your teammate is wrong.

Dubon won’t last to the Deadline.  They go to 26 May 2.  And at some point LaStella comes back.  I think.  Luke Williams can do defensively what Dubon does.  Williams has better speed.  Neither is going to wow you with their bat.  I think Williams beats him out.

5 hits and 14 Ks today. 6th through 8th Giants sent up 11 batters. 1 hit.  1 walk. 8 Ks.  Pathetic.

Could be. Haven't seen Williams in center. Does he have options left? Dubon doesn't. He could have done what 6 through 8 did...or better.

I believe Williams has options.  That may save Dubon for awhile.  Right now they are at 15 pitchers. 13 regulars.  Probably go 13-13. Although maybe 14-12 given DH.  La Stella if he’s ever healthy will take a spot.  As will Longoria. So, his days are probably numbered. No way he beats out Estrada.

Totally agree re Estrada. A future star methinks. Since it's the giants, we know there will be other injuries and Dubon can play several positions. When is Wade to return?

Don’t know on Wade.  They said nothing structural.  But Im always skeptical of reports relating to knee injuries.  I would not be surprised if it’s worse than they are saying.
