Geaux Cardinal!
We don't care about who is in first now. The important thing is who is in first at the end. I believe Michigan is relatively weaker in spring. But Texas came on strong last year in the spring.
Spring sports include WWP, MVB, W BVB, MLAX, WLAX, MTen, WTen, MGolf, WGolf, WRow, SFB, MT&F, WT&F, BSB
Rankings do NOT matter. It only matters how you finish in the NCAA tournament. If you don't go to it, you get 0.
Baseball is looking good most of the time at #7, but will they make it to Omaha?
WWP is looking good, but a bad MPSF semi-final game (THIS WEEKEND) could leave us with 0 points.
MVB might possibly make the tournament, but it seems likely not (RPI is much lower than #13 ranking).
Beach VB seems we are right on the cusp as to whether we go to the NCAA tournament or not. I think we will.
MLAX - no team.
WLAX - We're not yet to a national level.
MTen Stanford #14, Texas #12
WTen Stanford ranked #18, Texas #4
MGolf is ranked #14.
WGolf seems under-performing relative to their #1 ranking.
WRow - I have no idea, but isn't that one that Texas won last year?
SFB - The team is doing better than predicted, but only ranked #33.
MT&F - ?
WT&F - ?
