Today the NFL Network finally announced an agreement with Time Warner Cable (my service provider). NFL Network will be carried on the digital basic and sports pass tiers. Negotiations has been ongoing for at least six years if not longer.
I think that fans of the Pac 12 (which is less popular across the country than the NFL) should be prepared for the standoff with DirecTV and other carriers to last for quite a while.
