Sure would be nice to see Stanford finally conquer the 1st hole. It has been statistically the hardest hole on the course for the field. Still, the team was +11 on #1 over the 4 stroke play rounds and then 4 of the 5 Stanford players bogeyed it in the quarters.

UPDATE - Stanford recorded par 4s on #1 in 4 of 5 matches and won the hole each time. Good start.

Rose is 2 up through 2. It's early but she looks like a different player. I could see her doing a 6&5 number on her opponent
